Phil Daffern has more than 20 years' experience across lending, intermediary support, technology, and business development. Having worked in roles spanning mortgage advice, underwriting, operations, proposition development, and corporate partnerships, he brings a unique end-to-end perspective to the mortgage market.

At SimplyBiz Mortgages, Phil works closely with lenders and providers to deliver strategic initiatives that support member firms and improve customer outcomes. He also works with universities, challenging students' perceptions of the mortgage industry and encouraging the next generation of talent to explore careers within financial services. Outside of work, Phil enjoys family life, coaching youth rugby, performing in local pantomimes, and walking his energetic Irish Red Setter, Rollo.
