As a tech-led business, are you driving change and innovation in the mortgage or protection sectors? Should you be recognised for your forward-thinking and cutting-edge tech?

Here’s how to get involved and demonstrate how your innovation or collaboration is making a difference.

Step 1: Choose Your Categories

Start exploring our award categories and decide which one (or more) best showcases your technical expertise.

Your tech might be breaking new ground in product sourcing, origination, mortgage submission or fraud detection.

Your CRM system might be setting the standard for others to follow. There could be an exceptional individual within your team who is driving innovation within the mortgage sector.

Alternatively, you might want to highlight a standout collaboration with another company or organisation that has delivered exceptional value and innovation within the industry.

Wherever your creativity and expertise lie, there’s a category for you.

We welcome entries from across the mortgage and protection ecosystem.

If you’ve introduced bold new ways of thinking, delivered better outcomes, or helped move the industry forward, we want to hear from you.

You can enter as an individual, team, or organisation and may enter up to three categories. Just be sure to check the criteria for each one before submitting.

Step 2: Submit Your Entry

Each category requires a short online entry form, where you'll be asked to:

• Highlight your key achievements
• Demonstrate the impact and results of your innovation
• Share how your work is advancing the mortgage industry

Entries can be submitted by individuals or on behalf of others. We encourage peers, partners, and managers to nominate outstanding work too.

All categories are free to enter, and the deadline is 11.55pm, Friday 19 September 2025.

Before getting started, please ensure you have read our rules and guidelines.

All eligible and verified entries will be sent to the judges to review and score.

Step 3: Be Judged by Industry Experts

All entries will be reviewed by a panel of respected judges drawn from across the mortgage and fintech landscape. Judges will review and score the entries, and the highest-scoring firms will create the shortlist, which will be announced in late October.

They’ll be looking for evidence of:

• Innovation and originality
• Measurable results
• Industry impact
• A clear commitment to progress and excellence

The MITAs focus on achievements from the past 18 months, with a strong emphasis on developments since September 2023.

Step 4: Celebrate with the Industry

Winners will be revealed live at the MITAs ceremony, taking place on Tuesday 9 December 2025 in Central London, as part of the Mortgage Innovation & Technology Live conference.

All shortlisted individuals and teams will be invited to join the celebration alongside industry leaders, innovators, and peers.
