Cloë Atkinson (she/her) is the Chief Operating Officer of Mortgage Brain, the award-winning technology systems provider to the mortgage industry.

Cloë is a FinTech entrepreneur, having successfully established, developed, and launched a start-up in the UK mortgage industry. Her ability for spotting a challenge led to the creation of an innovative API platform, ‘Mortgage Engine’ that seamlessly connected major retail lenders' mortgage application systems with distributors. It is widely recognised as revolutionising the way that mortgage intermediaries processed applications and had a significant impact on the industry's technological landscape.

She is a keen supporter of getting more women into tech careers. Her insistence that 1 out of 3 CVs she screens are from female applicants has directly led to many talented women beginning their successful tech journeys under her guidance, a fact that she is especially proud of. In her spare time, Cloë is mum to two teenagers and is passionate about ensuring that all children have access to the very best education, a passion that has seen her appointed as Chair of Governors for one of her local schools. She also manages a local junior rugby team and can be found on a weekend, standing on the sidelines, cheering her team on, come rain or shine!
